Description: This is a small and immaculately maintained garden located on a small ‘dog-leg’ section bordering the Silverstream with extensive views over farmland and to the Maungatua hills.

When walking up the driveway a glimpse of what is beyond the fences can be seen with containers of spiral topiary leading in to the gate to the garden.  Entry is onto a flat lawn which slopes slightly up to a fascinating globe structure that leads up to a hidden area where music is playing.  Further up the slope at the top of the garden are extensive views across farmland to the hills and a gate opens out onto the walking path along the bank of the Silverstream.

Back down the slope follows a winding path beside a rambling stream coloured blue, which sets it off against the surrounding greenery.  A well-pruned purple-leaved cotinus provides a wonderful specimen in the centre of the garden.  Around the side of the house is a small glasshouse filled with tomatoes and a vegetable garden.

Access: Parking is available for all vehicles on Eden Street.

Admission: $3.00
